REf.#76 0061 ~ Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn, Oregon

Long before billboards, companies would approach farmers and ranchers with the proposal of painting their barns for free if they could advertise their product on the sides of barns. Many of these barns survive with signs painted in the finest paint of their time. This barn from Douglas County, Oregon survived until a severe winter storm took it down in the mid 1970's.
