While on a winter trip through Eastern Oregon many of the valleys were in a "silver thaw". All the trees and brush were coated with a thin coat of ice. Upon rising to the top of a hill and breaking into sunshine, I came upon this flock of sheep that had moved to the top and were crowded together to absorb the warm sun. I felt like I was "preaching" to the flock as they focused their attention on me.
