REf.#79 0634xl ~ Church Window, Oregon

This beautiful c.1900 country church once stood vacant along Highway 395 in Eastern Oregon. With good foresight the townspeople of Fox, Oregon removed and stored the stain-glass windows less they become damaged by vandals. When I photographed it in 1979 the windows were gone and the shake roof was deteriorating. Since then the townspeople have restored this church to its historic beauty.
