Snowfall on the Oregon Coast is an unusual occurance. With extremely cold temperatures forecasted throughout Western Oregon, Sandy and I headed for the coast. In our Dodge van, with snow tires and lots of firewood in back to aid traction, we headed out. It was an all day adventure crossing the coast range . . . passing many cars that slid off the road . . . and arriving in time to catch the last part of the snowfall.
