This older area of Oakland was in the midst of an urban renewal project. Considerable effort was made to preserve many of the earlier Victorian style homes. This house was up on blocks being prepared for a move. Likely this was the back porch, but the wall was removed in preparation for the move. The color and graphics of the scene captured my attention.
