

Ref.#90 4817 ~ Punch Bowl Falls, Oregon
These falls are in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge having cut through massive basalt cliffs for thousands of years. A few years after this photo was taken an enormous tree fell from the cliffs above and divided this scene diagonally comprimising its scenic beauty. The tree remained for years. I have not returned to see if it still remains.
