Horseshoe Canyon contains some of the most significant rock art in North America. From the west rim trailhead, the hike to the Horseshoe Shelter Petroglyph is about a 5 mile round-trip, descending 750 feet and requiring about five hours, six hours if you continue to the Great Gallery.
